DAZE : BUSHCRAFT
SCHNITT + AOI YAMAGUCHI
DAZE : BUSHCRAFT
With
Bushcraft,
Gabriele
Gai
opens
a
new
chapter
in
his
artistic
journey
and,
for
the
first
time,
releases
his
work
on
Sync
under
the moniker DAZE.
Bushcraft
begins
as
an
act
of
listening.
A
collection
of
compositions
where
rhythm,
space
and
memory
intertwine
naturally,
allowing
sound
to
unfold
without
seeking
a
definitive
form.
Electronics
coexist
with
granular
textures
and
a
restrained
compositional
language.
The
pulse
does
not
drive
the
music;
it
accompanies
it.
Every
element
finds
its
own
pace,
every
silence retains its own weight.
Three
spoken
voices
move
through
the
album,
they
do
not
tell
a
story,
nor
do
they
ask
to
be
fully
understood.
They
appear
as
presences:
fragments
of
memory,
passing
thoughts,
sonic
material
alongside
synthesisers,
piano
and
reverberation.
Rather
than
marking
a
change
of
style,
Bushcraft
reflects
a
shift
in
perspective.
A
new
artistic
identity
that
does
not
break
with
the
past,
but
reveals
a
part
of
it
that
has,
until now, remained unheard.
This
first
release
under
a
new
name
is
an
invitation
to
inhabit
the
act
of
listening,
where
melancholy
is
not
a
destination,
but
a
way of paying attention.

AMELIE DUCHOW : LOGOS MATER
L
OGOS
MATER
is
the
new
album
by
Amelie
Duchow,
a
sonic
research
inspired
by
the
phonetic
diversity
of
languages
and
by
the
distinctive
rhythmic,
timbral
and
acoustic
structures
that
define their sonic identities.
Combining
experimental
electronics,
rhythmic
structures,
ambient
textures
and
transformed
vocal
fragments,
LOGOS
MATER
investigates
the
sonic
dimension
of
language
beyond
the
meaning
of
words.
Accents,
intonations,
speech
rhythms
and
phonetic
nuances
become
compositional
material,
revealing
the
unique
musicality
embedded within linguistic diversity.
Developed
from
voice
contributions
by
participants
from
different
linguistic
and
cultural
backgrounds,
the
album
transforms
spoken
language
into
multilayered
sonic
landscapes.
Individual
voices
are
fragmented,
processed
and
recomposed,
creating
a
listening
experience
in
which
language
returns
to
its
elemental
qualities:
breath,
rhythm,
resonance
and vibration.
Every
language
carries
its
own
music.
LOGOS
MATER
is
an
invitation
to
listen
to
these
differences
not
as
boundaries,
but
as
shared
resonances.
All
contributors
whose
voices
became
part
of
the
project
until
February
2026
are
acknowledged in the album credits

SCHNITT + GIANLUCA SIBALDI : SCANAUDIENCE
SCANAUDIENCE
brings
together
seven
unedited
live
recordings
captured
during
performances
in
different
countries.
Developed
by
Gianluca
Sibaldi
and
SCHNITT
(Marco
Monfardini
and
Amelie
Duchow),
the
project
uses
a
custom-
built
electronic
scanner
to
translate
the
physical
characteristics
of
the
audience
into
sound
and
moving
images
through
computer
vision
and
neural-network
processing.In
each
performance,
the
audience
becomes
the
source
of
the
audiovisual
composition.
Bodies,
clothing,
materials
and
movements
are
scanned
in
real
time,
generating
sound
structures
shaped
by
the
people
present
and
the
specific
architectural
and
acoustic
conditions
of
each
space.
Recorded
at
international
events
including
LEV
Festival
in
Gijón,
Biennale
Némo
at
the
Philharmonie
de
Paris,
ACT
Festival
at
the
Asia
Culture
Center
in
Gwangju,
MUTEK
Montréal,
Sonica
Glagow
UK,
Fonomo
Festival
in
Poland
and
Kontejner
at
Museum
of
Contemporary
Art
in
Zagreb,
the
tracks
document
distinct
encounters
between
collective
presence,
architecture
and
technology.
From
expansive
sonic
layers
to
dense,
pulse-driven
textures,
each
recording
captures
a
unique
configuration
of
bodies,
light and data.
Together,
the
seven
tracks
form
a
sonic
archive
of
collective
presence
across
borders,
revealing
how
real-time
scanning
and
computational
processes
transform
the
physical
environment
into
constantly
evolving
soundscapes.

SCHNITT : MEMORY CODE
MEMORY
CODE
is
a
project
with
the
central
focus
on
the
human
memory.
Originally
developed
as
an
audio/video
live
performance
the
duo
SCHNITT
based
their
research
for
this
work on
the decoding of their personal memory.
During
the
composition
of
the
album,
Schnitt
undergoes
an
inspection
and
analysis
of
their
own
conserved
informations,
automatisms
and
intense
emotional
states
connecting
them
with
their current state of mind.
The
album
Memory
Code
is
developed
in
nine
tracks,
each
one
dedicated
to
a
certain
type
of
memory
in
which
successions
of
layers
gradually
become
visible
and
emerge
in
the
soundstructure
generating
a
balance
between
subtle
personal
sensations
and
vibrations.
Crumbled
fragments
of
memory
-

and

of
events
subordinated
to

mathematical
structures

and
future moments.
For
the
realization
of
the
album
MEMORY
CODE,
SCHNITT
extends
their
work
inviting
several
international
artists
to
participate
with
their
personal
sound
memory
to
the
project,
asking
them
to
send
one

“

in
order
to
integrate
and
open
the
project
to
other
artistic
influences,

origins and generations.
